Yes, it is not too late to go to the 2023 World Scout Jamboree as a member of the International Service Team (IST)!!! A number of IST spaces are available in the USA contingent. To be a part of this group of those staffing the jamboree register at https://events.scouting.org/login.
To be on the IST scouters must be at least 18 on the first day of the Jamboree, Tuesday, August 1. Those registering now will be asked to pay a $1700.00 deposit. This will bring them up to the current amount due for all participants. A final payment of $600.00 will be due on or before April 30, 2023 to account for the $2300.00 fee. Any not selected will receive a full refund. IST are responsible for their own transportation to and from the jamboree.

A FINAL NOTE: BSA’s own Nathan Baie will be serving as the Deputy Chief for Subcamp L at the 25th World Jamboree. Nathan is building a team of international IST to work with our Korean friends to support as many as 1800 campers in the subcamp. This is one IST position that will not be boring! You will make friends from the units in the subcamp due to the repetitive contact you will have with them as well as make friends with the international ISTs with which you will be serving.
